The aim of our scholarship initiative is to mentor, aid, and motivate the upcoming generation of innovators and experts who hold the potential to shape the future. We offer three categories of scholarships tailored to assist you in reaching your academic aspirations.
Indigenous Populations
We are devoted to establishing reciprocal relationships with Indigenous communities in Canada. As a part of this commitment, we provide scholarships to Indigenous students to foster their expertise and understanding in the renewable energy industry. Award: Up to $3,000 per scholarship
Social Leaders
The foundation of robust communities lies in the hands of many individuals. This scholarship is granted to students showing a dedication to community service and the desire to make the world a more harmonious place for present and future generations. Award: Up to $3,000 per scholarship
Renewable Energy Professionals
We are dedicated to promoting the renewable energy industry and backing the talented professionals who will pave the path. This scholarship is given to students registered in a renewable energy trade program. Award: Up to $3,000 per scholarship
Review Process for Applications
Our selection committee evaluates applications based on your need for financial assistance, academic achievement, community engagement, pursuit of studies relevant to the renewable energy field and/or environmental conservation, and proximity to locations where our operations or development projects are based.
Criteria for Eligibility
- Resident of Canada or the United States
- Enrolled in full-time studies at an accredited Canadian or United States trade or technical school, college or university
- Students pursuing masters or doctoral degrees are not eligible for this scholarship
- Indigenous Populations Scholarship exclusive: Member of an Aboriginal community (band or settlement), including First Nations, Metis and Inuit; and proof of Aboriginal Status
- Renewable Energy Professionals Scholarship exclusive: Registered in a renewable energy trades program focusing on wind, hydro or solar energy at an accredited trade or technical school, college or university
Application Process
To register for one of our scholarships, fill out an online application form. You will need to attach the following as part of the application:
- An unofficial transcript from your most recent academic program, if completed within the last five years
- A letter of recommendation
- Evidence of your Aboriginal Status (for Indigenous Populations Scholarship applicants only)
