Countless budding entrepreneurs, particularly students, harbor dreams of launching their own businesses, establishing websites, or initiating mobile apps. However, the financial constraints associated with tuition fees and academic commitments often compel these young visionaries to put their entrepreneurial aspirations on hold.
The Entrepreneur Scholarship, sponsored by Voy Media, a Facebook advertising agency, was established to provide these students with the financial support they need to kickstart their business ventures while still in school. Voy Media is committed to assisting ambitious, industrious, and gifted students in realizing their entrepreneurial dreams.
Scholarship Details
Each year, Voy Media will grant four (4) scholarships, each worth $2,500, to deserving students as determined by our panel of judges. This scholarship aims to alleviate the financial burden of education for young entrepreneurs and provide them with the support they need on their entrepreneurial journey.
The scholarship funds will be issued in the form of a check, made payable directly to the educational institution of the winning students.
Application Deadlines
The application deadlines for the 2020 scholarships are April 30, 2023, and September 30, 2025.
Who Can Apply?
The scholarship is open to any current college student or incoming freshman enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited college, university, or trade school. There are no restrictions on the major or trade. All students are welcome to apply.
Applicants are required to submit an essay of 500-1,000 words on the topic provided below. The essay should be sent to kevin@voymedia.com before the scholarship deadline.
Essay Topic
Since its inception, the Internet has been a double-edged sword for entrepreneurship, facilitating its growth while also complicating it. How would you utilize the Internet to build a business? Furthermore, how would you navigate the heightened competition and other challenges that come with operating in an online marketplace?
