About the Scholarships
APIA Scholars provides undergraduate scholarships for students enrolled in U.S.-accredited colleges and universities. Awards range from $2,500 for single-year scholarships up to $20,000 for multi-year commitments. The program places special emphasis on supporting first-generation college students and those living at or below the poverty line. Opportunities are available for students attending or planning to attend both 2-year and 4-year institutions.
Track Record
For more than two decades, APIA Scholars has funded recipients from every U.S. state, including Hawaii and Alaska, as well as applicants from American Pacific jurisdictions such as Guam, the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of Palau.
Eligibility
All applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or lawful permanent resident. Additionally, citizens of the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republic of Palau are eligible to apply.
- Be enrolling or continuing as a degree-seeking undergraduate student at a U.S.-accredited college or university for the fall 2026 term. Both full-time and part-time degree-seeking students may apply.
Important note: Applicants pursuing an associate or bachelor’s degree are eligible. Individuals who already hold a bachelor’s degree or a higher-level degree are not eligible.
