We value higher education and are committed to helping prepare the next generation of professionals for the workforce. In support of that mission, we’re proud to offer the 2025 Shelving.com Business Scholarship to Michigan students pursuing business-related studies.

- Awards: One grand prize of $4,000; one runner-up award of $2,500; one second runner-up award of $1,500
Who may apply
- Michigan residents who are either currently enrolled at an accredited college or university, or high school seniors who will be enrolled in college or university no later than the Fall 2025 semester. (Michigan residents who attend accredited institutions outside the state are eligible.)
- Students must be studying a business major or a business-related field.
- Minimum cumulative GPA: 2.8

- Essay (250–1,000 words) responding to the prompt below
- If you are not currently attending college/university, include proof of upcoming enrollment

Award disbursement requirements
Selected recipients must verify Michigan residency before receiving funds by providing one of the following: a Michigan ID card, a Michigan driver’s license, or a document showing Michigan tuition status.
Selection criteria
Applicants will be evaluated on academic achievement and the content and quality of the essay.
