About AWAF Scholarships The Automotive Women’s Alliance Foundation (AWAF) centers its work on scholarship support as part of its mission to advance women’s careers in the automotive and mobility sectors. As a professional organization, AWAF is committed to helping women enter and grow within these industries.
Who is considered Scholarships are intended for women who are citizens of North America and who have a sincere interest in pursuing or advancing careers in automotive, mobility, or related fields. While AWAF members and their family members are encouraged to apply, applicants do not need to be affiliated with AWAF to be considered.
Eligibility requirements
- Must be a woman and a citizen of North America.
- Must be accepted to or currently enrolled in an accredited collegiate program.
- Must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Selection process and purpose The Scholarship Committee reviews applications and awards scholarships on a quarterly basis. Awards are targeted to women who show strong enthusiasm and determination for careers in the automotive and mobility arenas, with the intent of easing financial pressures so recipients can concentrate on their studies and professional development in an evolving global mobility landscape.
Policy on changes AWAF retains the right to change scholarship criteria, guidelines, and eligibility at any time. Such changes may be made without prior notice to applicants or past recipients and without creating liability.
