Introduction
This scholarship is intended to support students connected to the Van Buren County Farm Bureau who are pursuing agricultural studies. Candidates must satisfy the membership, residency, and academic requirements listed below.
Eligibility
- Membership: The applicant must be a dependent of a current Van Buren County Farm Bureau regular member. If the applicant is married or has reached the age of 21 or older, they are required to hold their own Van Buren County Farm Bureau membership instead of qualifying as a dependent.
- Residency: The applicant must reside in Van Buren County.
- Academic status: Applicants should be enrolled as a college junior or senior, or be in the second year of a two-year technical program, and be working toward a degree or certification in an agricultural field. A college sophomore will only be considered if there are no other applicants who meet the primary academic criteria.
