Probo Medical Scholarship — Overview
Probo Medical is pleased to offer the Probo Medical Scholarship to help reduce educational expenses for students preparing for careers in healthcare. One $500 scholarship will be awarded to support a student’s academic progress and commitment to improving health access.
Scholarship Topic and Essay Requirements
- Submit an original essay (maximum 1,500 words) that explains how you plan to make healthcare more affordable and accessible, and why this goal matters to you and to society. We encourage you to reflect on the impact you hope to have.
Who Should Apply
- Students in their final year of high school or currently enrolled undergraduates are eligible, particularly those aiming for careers in medicine or veterinary medicine, though applicants pursuing any field of study are welcome.
Selection Process
- A review panel composed of Probo Medical principals and employees will evaluate submissions. Entries will be judged on originality, depth of research, creativity, and overall quality of the essay.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify you must:
- Be enrolled at an accredited U.S. high school, college, or university.
- Be in your final year of high school or an undergraduate student in good standing.
- Be at least 16 years old.
- Attend an institution based in the United States.
- Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (or equivalent).
- Submit your entry by June 21st.
Submission Details and Additional Guidelines
- Entries submitted by email or fax will not be accepted. All submissions must be made using the submission form below.
- No supporting documents beyond those listed are required or will be considered (for example, do not submit tax documents or letters of recommendation).
- Each entry must include:
- A Microsoft Word document of your essay.
- Your full contact information printed on every page of the essay (full name, mailing address, email address, and phone number).
- A statement or transcript indicating your current cumulative GPA (unofficial transcripts are acceptable).
