Compassionate Caregiver Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Duffy & Duffy, PLLC
Placing your trust in someone else to look after you can be a challenging task, particularly for those who are most in need of assistance. When a caregiver is apathetic, it not only shatters that trust, but it can also lead to harmful consequences such as medical malpractice, abuse in nursing homes, or medical negligence. At Duffy & Duffy, we have witnessed the detrimental impact of a negligent caregiver, but we have also observed the remarkable influence of a caring caregiver.
We are thrilled to introduce the Compassionate Caregiver Scholarship as a way to acknowledge and encourage benevolence and kindness in our community! This scholarship, worth $1,000, will be given to a student who demonstrates a profound comprehension of the significance of empathy and acute awareness in caring for others, irrespective of whether they are in a nursing home or a hospital nursery.
