Introduction and Purpose
The attorneys at the Amy G Injury Firm believe that everyone deserves an equal chance to build a better life for themselves, their families, and their communities. Recognizing that many students face barriers that hinder educational progress, our firm is committed to helping close that gap. For the past eight years, the Amy G Injury Firm has proudly funded the Access to Education Scholarship to provide financial support to students pursuing higher education.

We see education as the guiding thread of progress — not a privilege, but a right and the foundation of a flourishing society. By expanding educational opportunities, we help create a future in which diverse perspectives come together to innovate and improve life for all.

Award Details
Each year we award $1,000 to the applicant who submits the most original and persuasive proposal for widening access to higher education, accompanied by a clear explanation of why this goal is vital to the future of our country and the world.

Who May Apply
The 2026 Amy G Injury Firm Access to Education Scholarship is open to students enrolled in accredited U.S. degree or certificate programs, including vocational schools, community or junior colleges, undergraduate programs, and graduate programs. GED recipients and students who will graduate high school soon and are enrolled in college-level study programs are also eligible.

Competitive applicants will be able to clearly articulate how higher education benefits society, how it can improve opportunities for all segments of the population, and practical ideas for making access more inclusive for underrepresented groups.

Academic Requirement
Applicants must demonstrate academic good standing with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale from their current institution.

How to Apply
Complete the application form and submit the following materials:

- A recent resume that includes current contact details and a concise statement of your current program level and student status.
- Your most recent academic transcript (unofficial transcripts are acceptable). Freshmen may submit an unofficial transcript from their most recent institution along with any available documentation from their current school.
- An original essay of approximately 750 words (Times New Roman, 12-point font; PDF preferred) explaining the role of higher education in society and presenting your ideas for expanding access to a wider range of demographic groups.
