Kent County FB Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Kent County Farm Bureau
Eligibility Criteria:
A) The scholarship is open to individuals who are either dependents of a current regular or associate member of the Kent County Farm Bureau or, if they are married or at least 21 years old, hold their own membership with the Kent County Farm Bureau.
B) Applicants are expected to maintain a minimum academic grade point average of 2.75, based on a 4.0 scale.
C) The recipients of the scholarship will be informed of their selection by April 15th at the latest.
D) The scholarship funds are to be utilized for tuition fees, starting from the fall semester after the scholarship has been awarded. The scholarship amount will be disbursed in two parts, one at the end of each of the first two semesters. To be eligible for each disbursement, the student must maintain a GPA of 2.75 for the respective semester.
E) The scholarship is a grant and does not need to be repaid.
F) The decision to award the scholarship lies entirely with the Kent County Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
