Thanks to the generosity of our donors who are invested in the future of Washtenaw County youth, AAACF awarded more than $650,000 in 2025 across 26 scholarship funds to support students pursuing post‑secondary education at institutions nationwide.

One application covers every scholarship for which you qualify.
Below is a concise listing of the scholarships that use the Common Application. Detailed eligibility criteria for each award appear in the accompanying eligibility document. During the initial section of the Common Application, you will be screened for eligibility for each scholarship.

Eligibility and application notes
- Use a single Common Application to be considered for all listed scholarships you meet the criteria for.
- Specific award requirements are described in the eligibility document; final determination of which scholarships you qualify for occurs in the first part of the application.

Scholarship funds (brief descriptions of eligibility)
- AAACF Community Scholarship Fund: For graduating high school seniors or graduates within the last two years who have not yet enrolled in college and who are economically disadvantaged, youth of color, and/or first‑generation college students.
- AWC Scholarship Fund for Women in Computing: For female students pursuing studies in technology and/or computing.
- Cathy Allor Mathematics Scholarship Fund: For graduating female seniors at Adrian High School with an interest in mathematics.
- Josee L. Alvarez Memorial Fund: For graduating seniors at Chelsea High School.
- Ann Arbor Ad Club Scholarship Fund: For Washtenaw County residents studying advertising, communications, public relations, marketing, journalism, or a related field.
- Walter & Florence E. Aupperle Scholarship Fund: For students studying German (major or minor) at the University of Michigan or Eastern Michigan University.
- Morse B. Barker Memorial Scholarship Fund: For Washtenaw County residents attending Washtenaw Community College, or for any Ann Arbor Public School graduating senior planning to attend Washtenaw Community College.
- Bruce & Merlee Bartman Memorial Fund: For graduating seniors at Community High School.
- Burt Black Memorial Fund: For students with disabilities at Huron High School, Washtenaw Community College, and the University of Michigan.
- Gamma Rho Boule Education Fund: For graduating African‑American male high school seniors from any public or private high school in Washtenaw County.
- Nathan Lyndell Hall Memorial Scholarship Fund: For graduating seniors at Pioneer or Community, or alumni of Ypsilanti Junior Football and Cheerleading (YCJAA).
- Richard D. & Grace P. Leslie Scholarship Fund: For Washtenaw Community College students studying retail or business.
- Andrew J. Lum Scholar Athlete Award Fund: For graduating seniors from the Huron High School varsity football team who demonstrate commitment to both athletics and academics.
- Beth Moffat Memorial Scholarship Fund: For graduating senior female student athletes at Hartland High School.
- NuStep Scholarship Fund: For children, step‑children, and grandchildren of NuStep employees.
- Josephine C. Otto Memorial Scholarship Fund: For members of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dexter.
- Pipe Dream Fund: For students attending the University of Michigan or Eastern Michigan University who are Polish nationals holding a valid visa, or whose parents are from Poland.
- Silver Maples Employee Educational Fund: For full‑ or part‑time employees of Silver Maples of Chelsea.
- Silver Legacy Scholarship Fund: For full‑ or part‑time students who have worked as wait staff at Silver Maples of Chelsea for at least six months.
- Linda Grasselli Sprankle Scholarship Fund: For African‑American, Latino/Hispanic, and/or students who will be the first in their family to attend college.
- James K. Stringwell Scholarship Fund: Need‑based awards for students graduating from public high schools in Washtenaw County who will attend a public college or university in Michigan.
- Rachael Townsend Memorial Scholarship Fund: For women majoring in a degree within the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan, or for senior female student athletes at Saline High School.
- Butch Warren Memorial Scholarship Fund: For graduating seniors at Pioneer High School; OR for any child of a former D&C employee attending a Michigan public university or college; OR for a student enrolled full‑time at a Michigan technical school.
- Welcome Home Scholarship Fund: For men and women who have returned home from active deployment in Operation Enduring Freedom/Operation Iraqi Freedom and who were honorably discharged within the last three years.
- Richard Weldon Memorial Scholarship Fund: For graduating seniors who have lettered (in athletics, theater, or music) at Pioneer High School and who were employed for at least 12 consecutive months while in high school.
